A all-around winner

I think the design, build and aesthetics of this microwave oven are outstanding, from its use of chrome where competing models use plastic, to the user interface which is slightly better than on the 15+ year-old unit we bought it to replace. The curved handle is a very nice touch, too. We picked it with assistance from store personnel, who gave us crucial information about the unit, because there was no floor model to inspect, just two boxes. Short term use

The microwave quit working in less than a year. Won't purchase this brand again.

It is a bit smaller

The Sharp ratings were consistently better than all the others that size. It is a little smaller requiring me to reconfigure the cabinet but it works as desired.

Powerful, quality microwave

Our old microwave broke. This microwave was slightly bigger and more powerful than our old one while still fitting the space. While we have only had it a few weeks, so far it is been great. The higher wattage has definitely been noticeable, with decreased cooking times. Another thing that I really like about this microwave compared to the old one is how grippy the feet are.
