Works well, but loud idle sound
Would Not RecommendInstalled this new sharp microwave to replace our built in Whirlpool WMC30516HZ and was happy to find it fit the exact same slot and had the vents in the same places. Only modifications needed were to remove the feet with a pair of pliers or flat head screwdriver. The microwave works well but even when not in use, the mechanical whine of the machine is much louder and higher frequency than our old one. Pretty bad
Bought this microwave because it is the perfect size for our countertop. It is replacing the same exact model we purchased that only lasted 11 months. I am hoping the first was just a lemon because if this one goes as quickly. It will be time to switch companies.
