Does not live up to hype
Would Not Recommendpurchased due to multiple functions on TouchPad. specifically looking for a microwave to soften a stick of butter. this one has melt and soften settings for a number of different items, but they don't work. put a stick of butter just out of the fridge and in 20 seconds it has a liquified hole in the middle. tonight I find out that if you're using the kitchen timer, the machine will do nothing else. On Line Order of Microwave
Would RecommendThus far the product has worked flawlessly. When ordered on July 30, the statement was "will be ready for pickup" in 3 hours. At 1:00 PM on August 1 the status was "preparing your order". Thus I went to the Lowes store to ask what the heck. After 20 minutes or so, the item was brought to customer service. Out of 1 to 5, I would rate the pickup process a 1.

Would RecommendWe purchased this to replace a less than 3 year old Toshiba Microwave/Inverter that quit working. Went back to a straight Microwave. The sharp looks and works great.

Nice microwave that gets the job done
The microwave is very easy to use. I'll start with what I like best: The inside light is actually quite nice. Bright enough but not too bright. I like that when the cooking cycle is finished it makes more than one beep. This replaced an older Sharp purchased in 2007 (should point out that I bought my first Sharp microwave around 1970).
