Would RecommendIt was very easy to install. It works very well BUT. The direction for my unit was wrong and they did not supply the right parts to make it work. I used washers and nuts I had in my tool box to retrofit this to work. It turned out great. I do love the tool
Doesn't fit Kobalt brand!
Would Not RecommendThis is a great product but unless you have a lathe to make the required sleeve to fit Lowes own Kobalt trimmer don't buy it.

Would Not RecommendThis would not fit on my trimmer, as the shaft is to small. So once you put on this head, they will only be a quarter in to thread the nut onto. Which all the nuts were too big. But that wasn't really a problem, as I have plenty in my house to use. The whole plastic piece that sticks out should have been threaded.

Would RecommendThis is the first after market trimmer head I have ever used that actually fit right and works. I have a Troy Bilt straight head trimmer and fits perfectly. Easy to install and easy to reload.

Would RecommendGreat simple tool. Universal fitment so take the time to attach it right. This sort of preparation work for the line is worth it for me personally. I'm not a fan of self feeding and I'd rather pre-cut the same length of line than end up with a clogged self feeder. Cheap easy replacement.

Trimmer head requires HULK's grip. AVOID
Would Not RecommendI bought this trimmer head and it works. However, when it comes time to add new strings to the head, you'll need the grip of the HULK to thread the new strings. I'm not kidding. It's an unpleasant experience.

Much easier to replace trimmer cord than the self feeding heads. Also with the four trimmer cords it cuts way more aggressively than the two on the self feeding heads.
