I Will Never Go Back to Spooling Line
Would RecommendUsing this head for many years; gone thru three of them cutting miles of trails thru woods. Note: No wear due to bumping to release line. Will never go back to spooling line again. I use that time for cutting weeds.

Would RecommendWith some ingenuity, I was able to install this on my Kobalt 24V Max trimmer, replacing the worn out original bump feed head. This unit is very easy to load and works well. I can't speak to durability yet, as I've only used it once, but it seems very well made.

Easy to replace line
Would RecommendI’ve been using the same head for over 10 yrs. And now it is wearing out. I think I’ve got my money’s worth out of it. The string is only 3/4 in from the ground so you don’t have to tip the head and end up gouging your lawn. It feels like it glides on the grass. YES if the line breaks or wears out you have to stop and insert another precut line but it almost always last the whole job. I use it to trim & edge. The only place I can find it is at Lowe’s. (Or on-line) and I just bought a new one. Ve...

Would RecommendThe nut kit included DOES NOT have a nut for the 40v trimmer. However if you modify the OEM nut to fit in the hex portion of the trimmer head, it can work for the 40v kobalt trimmer. You will need the OEM spacer along with the black puck spacer and it will tighten up for use. You will need to either: Trim the strings to fit with the guard, or take the guard off, just use the trimmer wearing pants, and a face shield and you'll be fine.
