What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the classic, attractive design and sturdy construction of these deck posts. Most highlight how the ornamental appearance with ball-top styling enhances decks, porches, and railings, with many noting the timeless appeal and professional finish. When wood is defect-free, reviewers consistently describe the posts as strong and well-made, suitable for outdoor use. However, many report encountering warped, cracked, or split wood requiring careful inspection and sorting through multiple posts. Despite this quality inconsistency, most customers find them a reliable, value-driven solution when carefully selected.

Good quality heavy posts!
Would RecommendWe have been purchasing these ball top posts for years now. As many as 80 a year. We use them to make one of our favorite craft items that we sell in and around Columbus, Ohio in the fall each year. Lowes is the only home improvement store still selling this style. The price has increased dramatically, but the store has continued to give us a generous discount because of the quantity we buy. We do greatly appreciate the Marion store.
