What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the classic, attractive design and sturdy construction of these deck posts. Most highlight how the ornamental appearance with ball-top styling enhances decks, porches, and railings, with many noting the timeless appeal and professional finish. When wood is defect-free, reviewers consistently describe the posts as strong and well-made, suitable for outdoor use. However, many report encountering warped, cracked, or split wood requiring careful inspection and sorting through multiple posts. Despite this quality inconsistency, most customers find them a reliable, value-driven solution when carefully selected.

Not a good product!
Would Not RecommendMore cheap cracking, and warping wood... Started cracking at the bottom as it cures, and has reached at least one foot up the post.

Low stock of viable product
We’ve searched at least 8 Lowe’s. We only found one that was major crack free. The one we bought had a tiny dent and crack but it was the best of what was available.

Low Stock Merchandise is Junk
Would Not RecommendBeware of low stock merch. It's mostly damaged goods. Deck post is good quality but not enough available. Just picked up 6 curbside. All are damaged.

We purchased four 4 x 4 x 4 posts, had to return three because of creaks or splits then after purchasing three new posts found out after staining them one was 1.5" short!
