I followed the directions carefully and watered exactly as instructed, yet the results were disappointing. Expected much better performance fom the brands reputation.

Great for lawn maintenance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love using Scott’s products. This is the perfect product when your lawn is transitioning after the winter. Our lawn always has some bare spots and this product helps. The packaging is the perfect size to carry and pour. We sprinkle this product before watering our lawn.

Easy peasy to use!

Works well for small patches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on a few bare spots in my grass from where the dog has peed, and was pretty happy with the results overall. The patches filled in nicely, but you definitely have to stay consistent with watering or the seed won’t take as well. If you want really high quality grass or something for your entire yard, this probably won't work, but for fixing small patches, it does the job.

Very nice bermudagrass seed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Convenient jug of grass seed! Sprinkling this in a few bare spots we have on our lawn. We prefer bermudagrass here where we live as it is heat resilient and green color stays consistent all year round! The appearance stays beautiful even during colder months. Grass does not brown out. Highly recommend this seed for warmer climates!

Good pick

Did not grow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly I was hoping for more. The left is the lawn after I loosened up the dirt. The right in three weeks later after daily watering. Unfortunately, none of the seeds survived. Not sure if they washed out or just didn’t make it. This patch is about 6 years old and has slowly faded to patchy over the last couple years so I wanted to give EZ Seed a shot. Not sure if I went to light on the poor or what, but it wasn’t made to survive this time ...

Didn’t work for this spot

Unfortunately this grass repair/patch seed did not work to repair the patches of grass in our yard. We’ve used other Bermuda grass seeds in the past, as well as other Scott’s products, but for some reason this one did not take. Ease of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a few patches on front side lawn so it was great I received this. Super easy to use/spread and is doing a great job filling in our spots. I would definitely use this again if needed. The Scott name rarely disappoints!!

Simple to use would recommend

Grass is growing I put it out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a mix of clover and Bermuda growing in my backyard with a lot of bear dirt patches. I put this spot prepare on a patch of dirt where the grass wasn’t growing. I loosened the dirt and planted the seed and then put topsoil over that. That was a couple of weeks ago and you can see the grass coming up through the dirt. It’s not as thick as I would like, but it’s growing to get thicker and hopefully either the grass or the boat will take over...

Luxurious Grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am excited to try this out to help patch my front yard! The grass is dead where it receives shade from the tree throughout the day. I know the grass will be thick and luxurious and fill in the dead patches. Unfortunately my city has just entered into an emergency water crisis so I cannot try this yet because I will be fined for watering and we don’t get much rain. Will save for when we are able to water the lawn!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is extremely easy to use. The bottle has an easy to pour spout. You just clean the space, loosen the dirt, spread and water. We've had a dry spell so I am just watching it to keep watering the area. It has been so much easier than I expected.

Great for filling in problem spots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott’s EZ Seed Patch and Repair for Bermuda grass is such an easy 3 in 1 mix for fixing bare spots and thinning patches in warm season lawns. The mix already has the Bermuda seed, fertilizer and mulch mixed in, so all you really have to do is prep the area, sprinkle it on and keep it watered. The seeds are surrounded by mulch and it expands when it gets wet so it keeps the seed moist and in place. It has been down for a couple of weeks now and...

Scott's has the most know for all you grow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such amazing grass! Love it! Your neighbors will be envious, no joke! The rich, deep green will be the neighborhood conversation piece. That mixed with the feel of the blades on bare feet is nirvanic. Reminds me of my youth growing up in central Florida out picking blackberries and the like. Instructions...I don't need any instructions! No but seriously follow the planting time guidelines other than that it's sow and seed.

Easy but ineffective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very easy to install by just a little bit of scuffing up of the ground and sprinkling it on and watering it and keeping it moist. After over 2 weeks of gentle Care, there's only a few small sprigs that have popped up so I don't find it very beneficial when it says it can grow anywhere and it does not.

Worked well even in extreme heat weather!

It was easy to apply and instructions were very clear. You definitely need to water it regularly to see the results. It blended well with the existing grass. Good if your lawn needs a refresh.

Perfect for small areas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. I will say that the instructions were easy to follow. Be prepared for the smell. This is great for small patches but I wouldn’t suggest this if you’re trying to do a full yard or large area. It was quite an arm workout sprinkling the seeds out. The bag version is better with a seed spreader. I love that the grass type is heat tolerant.. But it works great in small patches. And there’s enough to do more than one small area.

Awesome container
