Good product, if done correctly.

People need to realize that grass also needs good soil, ph, nutrients, etc to grow. You can’t just throw it in some dirt and expect full grass. I recommend getting your soil tested to see what nutrients are missing and get a fertilizer to supplement them. If you want a good lawn, you’re gonna have to get your hands dirty and more maintenance.

This stuff is amazing!! I used to panic over our grass area when the dogs made these ugly bare spots but this stuff works so well I don’t stress anymore!

I think this is working. I am one of those people who watches daily progress and get excited about how things look. Well...this is a great product but have used for a couple years. One year application does not work for a worn out lawn. You have to work at a beautiful lawn.

I do not recommend wasting money on this product.

Prepared areas, spread the mix dense, watered on days of no rain, and after 3 weeks, not 1 blade of grass.

3-24-2024 This product doesn't work at all !! I live in Southern California -- The best climate in the world and I am a gardener, no weekend hack !! Stay away from using this. I have babied my lawn patch work for 2 weeks like a golf superintendent at the masters. The seed content of this bag is the problem ----- They have shorted the bag of the key ingredient. It needs more seed !! I would never use this again. Just buy Bermuda grass seed.

Don't listen to the haters

Completely works, other reviewers must be doing something wrong. I completely covered a large tree stump grind with only this product over the sawdust.

Worked - until the rain washed the soil away

The grass spouted and the seedlings looked like a nice short green beard in the bare areas of my front yard where I had also added some soil. However, heavy rains came and washed it all away. I didn’t have the money to reseed it again and lived with the bare spots for a couple of more years.

This product works best when you follow the instru

I purchased the 3 and 1 3 weeks ago this product works. You have to follow the instructions for best results. All my neighbors are asking how my la n look so plush and green. This is the real deal.

Followed directions it is exactly 3 weeks, nothing

I prepped the soil by first roto-tilling the area. Next I raked out all dead weeds and their roots. Broke up all dirt clods, and raked the area smooth. Applied the seeds exactly as directed. Watered twice every day. Today is exactly 3 weeks and not a thing has sprouted. Nothing.

I wish I seen the reviews first I use this around my mailbox without any success I don’t even think one seed sprout it up.

Tried my best to like this product multiple times, but have never been successful with it. Followed directions carefully. Kept it watered. Even added fast growing Scott's seeds to the mix. No difference.

I bought this EZ seed Patch, over a month ago,I have not seen any progress. I followed the directions to the T. Wil never spend money on any Scotts products.

Amazing product- already growing

We put out thick chunks throughout the yard about a month ago and already have grass growing!! My yard was supposed to be seeded throughout part of my backyard at the end of last year. I moved into a new build in January, and I still don't have bermudagrass. However, the EZ Scott is coming up thick and green just after one month!! I also use it between my plots of bermuda sod, and it's filling in already. Costco has the best prices on it though, but far!

Definitely WILL GROW with plenty of water!

Omg. I spread this stuff over some bald spots i had, I chose Bermuda hoping it wouldn't grow so fast. Anyway I went out of town for 2 weeks, (we had a ton of rain while I was gone) came back home and those bald spots had grown knee high! Couldn't believe it! Shocked but in a good way!

Waste of time and money!

I followed the directions exactly and still have not had a single blade of grass come out in over 4 weeks. Very disappointing!

Quick to germinate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the Scotts® Turf Builder® Thick'R Lawn® Bermuda Grass on my existing “mixed grass” lawn and it quickly began to take over, including some of the weeds. The seeds in the bag were good quality and germinated quickly. I will definitely buy this product in the future.
