I have been a loyal Scott’s customer for many years. Since they have repackaged the products to smaller quantities (32# instead of 40#) and doubled the price over the last 2 years, I will be purchasing another brand!

Works great - if you water. Needs a lot of water to grow.

Grew fast and tall

I used the seed on a Sunday and by the following week I already was getting small sprouts. In 4 weeks i reseeded and now its been 7 weeks and you can barely tell work had been done in that spot.

Great seed will keep using it

Ive been using good dirt to plant it, but I wonder if I even have to because of the fertilizer that's included. It grows super fast and thick, would recommend.

Excellent grass seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just prepped my yard for fall weather, I first dispatched and spread out Scott’s grass seed and then fertilized. And two weeks later I’m getting new grass. I highly recommend using Scotts grass seed for a nice green lawn.

Easy To Use

The bag is quite large and I just needed to go over some empty spaces in our yard so it worked perfectly for us. The seed is already making it appearance and appears healthy thus far. Premium grass seed, premium results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Premium grass seed that will give you a good return on your investment. This germinated quickly and filled in the few holes that had exposed themselves during the summer. I've had worse results with other brands.

Fast Germination!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Tall Fescue Mix is a great combination of Fescue cultivars for the Transition Zone where I live. The bag contains both the seed and fertilizer which eliminates at least one of the steps (purchasing a separate starter fertilizer) when seeding. The seed germinated quickly as it was properly cared for with good seed bed preparation, seed to soil contact, and adequate water and sunlight.

Over the next 2-3 weeks, I anticipate witnessing a lush, green cover emerge as the weather starts to change from Summer to Autumn. This particular seed has delivered outstanding results for me in the past.

Great looking yard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great seed to plant for a good looking lawn. It takes about two weeks for it to germinate and I haven’t detected any weeds. You do need to water it often to begin with. I’m looking forward to having that bare spot fully green again

Quickly grows

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The seeds germinated pretty fast. However, it didn't grew that thick that I hoped. I used it in few bare spots after applying some lawn soil with lawn fertilizer. The patches were watered by the lawn sprinklers. May be some unusual warm weather at the beginning of the growing phase cause the grass to not grow that thick. Not sure about that.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product but I only recently put it down. Fortunately we’ve had some rain so I haven’t had to water as frequently as I usually do. I’ve used this grass seed in the past and it produces a fairly good thick lawn.

Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed-Tall Fescue Mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed-Tall Fescue Mix was super easy to use! Had some bad places in our lawn that I needed to fix. Just raked the areas well-made furrows with the rake-spread the seed to these places-covered with top soil-watered well and let it grow. With the warmer weather and some rains it came up very quickly! The lawn looks a whole lot better! Couldn't be happier! :)

Slow to grow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nearly a month in and have barely seen any germination, it has been rather hot in zone 7 TN this year so here’s hoping that we will see more and by next spring a lush full law. Will be in the front yard!

Quick patch repaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love how easy it is to use this product. Open the bag and pour, or use the spreader for a larger area. I mainly use this to fix patches that burn up over the summer. I always get quick results and this time was no different. I like to add some fresh top soil beforehand which really helps it take quicker I think, but you could probably just rake up your current spots.

New grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took a little time to try this product due to extreme heat and lack of rain.I decided to plant some grass in some spots that definitely needed some overseeding,I had to water daily,but after 2 weeks of planting I started to seed new grass sprouting.I’m sure if I had some rain this product would of takened off better,but all in all the grass looks great.
