Save your money! Stick to manual
I bought this approximately 1 1/2 months (yep months) ago and had to change batteries two times. While it worked initially pretty well, it does not take to fertilizer without effort. Now it will not work at all and had to resort to my old hand held manual unit to spread grass seed for a lawn patch. Guess what! hand held manual work fine. Save you money and Scott's product team you need to go back to the drawing board. Batteries no way in 2025 unless they are rechargeable.

Would Not RecommendI ordered this even after seeing reviews about batteries not lasting on it. When I received the product I tried it and it didn't work with the included batteries. I tried brand new batteries and still no power. I'm returning the spreader.
