Just bought my 2nd wizzer. Love it. Works well and easy to store

Used twice with good results. Now with fertilizer it spins, but nothing comes out. Loud clicking sound as though blades are hitting something. If there is a clog, I can't see it. The movable guard just flops around as though it has come adrift. Problem began after I changed batteries.

Small yard, great product

mediocre at best

corrodes easily. put in new batteries and still wouldn’t operate. on my third and final one today. better of just spraying seed out of your hand from a bag batteries when they actually do get the thing to work don’t last very long in here. brand new duracells. batteries on the bottom? what? not a great design and like many of this brands products, overpriced for what you get and end up tossing out.

Piece of junk

Had this product a year or so, only used a couple of times. Now will not work at all. Cleaned the contacts and changed the batteries, still nothing. A piece of junk.

The Wizz is fantastic

I have been using the Wizz spreader for several years now with zero problems. According to my neighbors, my lawn is the envy of the neighborhood.

The right tool for the job

Does exactly what I need and what it is designed for. Delivers a consistent pattern and doesn't get jammed up if the fertilizer has a clump in it. Only negative is the effort to find/compute drop rate of various products. Scotts should build a database for quick look up.

Reliable, consistent, and easy to use.

I’ve had this for about 4 years now, and it works like a champ. If it does clog, then a simple shake of the wrist works most of the time. If I was to make a suggestion, (and I’m going to), it would be to reevaluate the type of batteries used, a “C” cell at 1.5V versus “AA” at 1.2V would seem to make more sense from a clogging perspective. I do have 1 question, the recommended setting for Bermuda grass seed is 5 for a WIRL, but doesn’t list a setting for the WIZZ. What is the equivalent setting...

easy to use

I use for ice melt, make sure you have small pellet's because big stuff will jam it. And keep it clean..

Crap

Doesn’t work. Will not even turn on. Fixed the batteries and still didn’t work.

Does not work with Scotts EZ Melt ice melter

Does not work with Scotts brand EZ melt. Use to last year but this year the EZ melt granules are larger and jam up and clog the spreader from working.

Don't buy. Save your money

Used it a year and that's it. Batteries fine but will hardly turn. Waste of money

This is my second Ritz spreader it is all garbage does not work well at all

No good product

No good / No bueno ! I regret buying three of these things use it for the first five minutes and stopped working outta no where ! so I went and replace the batteries thinking that it was the batteries that was bad that came with them unknown brand batteries, I put brand new batteries in it and same thing don’t buy this product. It’s trash.

Power source and motor

Not the best power source. It seems that the contacts are oxidizing with the different products and environments. Even with the enclosure the batteries will produce gases. Cleaned the contacts and the plate spins better. The the settings will vary based on walk speed, weight of product, pitch of plate in reference to terrain ( heavy product mean gravity of the “throw”), compounding this with the inexpensive motor and the plastic frame of the Wiz unit. No settings assistance

Terrible support for this product. Trying to find setting to apply a fertilizer product that does not have Wizz on the packaging. I know how many pounds per 1000 Sq ft I need, but can't find what number I need on the dial to achieve that application rate. No chart anywhere!

Not working

First time to use it would work for 5 seconds, then quit!!!! Boy, what a piece of junk!!! This is worthless!!!
