Stopped working after limited light use.

Only used lightly on very small lawn for one season. Tried it yesterday and the spinner barely turns. Put in new batteries and it acted the small. I had to shake it left/right to use it at all. With nothing in the feed hopper, the spinner only turns after being started by my finger. Very weak spinner motor.

Perfect and even spreading

It disperses grass seed and fertilizer evenly. All I had to do was press the button and walk

This is a poorly designed product and it will fail

It quite working. I took it apart. The little cannister motor died, I think. I can direct wire the motor to the batteries and see if it will work. I did not clean this thing lightly with a garden hose as the instructions say to do on the plastic trim card connected to the side of the unit - but don't do it! It is not a water tight unit. The underneath department where the motor is fills up with debris. I would clean it and it would go again but the motor got weaker and weaker. Its not the...

I like the idea of it but I didn’t work it would work for a moment then it wouldn’t we thought oh maybe it’s the batteries nope still didn’t work

Fair value for the money and coming with batteries was a pleasant surprise!

Do not use to spread salt.

It is not the fault of the manufacture, it was Lowe’s who sold this as a way of spreading salt during a cold snap. It worked for 10 seconds before getting jammed. It is being returned.

Eats batteries

Used it twice and batteries died. Should have bought the manual one.

Worked terribly

Just bought it and died right away. Replaced batteries died again.

Don't Bother

I only read the reviews after I purchased two of these. I was looking for a solution and found that most buyers are having the same problem. The two I purchased never worked from the start. Tried new batteries. Nothing. Whatever the reason, Scotts needs to pull this product, fix it/redesign it, and try again.

This producer worked well one time

I bought this last spring. Used it once and it worked good. This fall i wanted to use it and it won’t turn on at all. Replaced the batteries but nothing works

I've had this for two years, used it four times and it worked fine each time on the original batteries. I did buy some fertilizer recently which was a little chunky so the spreader gave me some problems which is probably due to weak batteries. I'm looking for the manual to figure out how to clean it though.

They keep breaking

These spreaders are not made to last! I have purchased two. Both have failed. After a certain period of time they simply stop working. I would avoid purchasing this machine.
