What Customers Are Saying
The Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn product has received mixed reviews. Some customers reported the grass grew quickly, thickly, and evenly, and found the 3-in-1 formula easy to apply. However, others complained the seed did not germinate or grow well, and felt the product was overpriced. The quality and performance appear to be inconsistent, so customers should carefully check the product details before purchasing to ensure they are getting a fresh, high-quality item. With proper preparation and care, the product can produce good results, but it may not be reliable for all users.

I can't explain it - but I hand watered my entire backyard, and area's of my side yard daily - for a month straight.I had spread 3 dumptruck loads of 80/20 topsoil 24 cubic square feet of fresh topsoil. I used my scott's spreader to put out the starter fertilizer, then the Southern gold Tall Fescue Grass Seed, I also rolled out the Scott's straw seed blanket. Most area's did great, other's not so much. Currently in the process of re-seeding the area's that did not germinate

still growing strong
Ibought the grass seed and within 7 days of planting I had grass!! T is still going strong even though the weather has been so unpredictable. A long dry period followed by heavy rains and still I have a healthy plot of grass.
