Rock Solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced existing Schlage lock of over 20 years. The matte black was perfect for Mrs H Solid construction well oiled parts. Just top notch. In fact I did two doors to replace gold fixtures before.

Entry door set

I purchased this with the antique finish and it looks nice on our door. Have purchased Shlage products in the past and will continue to purchase them in the future

Great knob (2nd set)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2nd set for house. Love it. Corrosion resistant brass finish. Keying the same as the other was easy. Simple to install. Ergonomics of the knob is comfortable. Replaced previous knob that was fatigued by weather.

Nothing special

Ok lockset. Couldn't find in store. Had to go home and order online and then go pickup. The store is a disaster.

Pretty and sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the matte black and it is beautiful. It took a bit of work to self install but it came out nicely. It feels sturdy and the key seems to slide in and out effortlessly. The strike for the deadbolt was a but I wont dock it because I dont have a standard size housing (its the 4 screw one). I've installed these before sp I didnt need the instructions that much(just used it to verify parts) but if your new just watch a video, they seem sort of ...

I have always appreciated the quality of Schlage products. However, I don't appreciate, nor do I find their 'easy to install' handle and locksets that have an odd, oversized deadbolt strike plate, convenient. No standard or common door manufacturer mortises for that odd part, so installers ...

Solid purchase

Impeccable quality

Schlage is great quality. The extra you pay is worth the investment. My home hardware sets at entry doors was showing signs of tarnish and one finally failed after decades of use. Dead bolt is upgraded and heavy duty. Brass quality is impeccable. I had to take to a locksmith and have them rekeyed for $30.
