Like the look

Good

This is not Lowe’s problem, but the tapping of the receptors for the screws connecting the two halves of the knob were not deep enough. I had to hacksaw off about 1/3 of an inch of each screw so they would assemble properly. No effect on performance. This occuree on multiple Schlage knob sets.

Inferior quality

Matte black doorknob & security thumb lock: knob covering keeps coming off in my hand…I FINALLY took pliers & dish towel to crimp the cover back on hopefully to stay!!!……Schlage DEFINITELY sells low end products…BUY ANOTHER BRAND!!!

Perfect replacement

The best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my other door handle broke, I wasn’t sure my best friends daughter I know it’s a simple mechanism. I’m glad in my three year-old can not just simply open the front door thank you. I enjoy it and I will recommend.

Assembled improperly?

They look fantastic but for some reason, if they are oriented correctly, the key position is flipped upside down on one of them.

Easy to install!

Great set with one minor issue.

Good solid metal unlike my old brass one. But the key doesn't go in easily into the knob section. The deadbolt works flawlessly.

Fantastic satin finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this lock and deadbolt set to match two others that are on my property and also ordered a factory Rekey kit to match my existing keys to the other, looks and was a little bit of a learning curve to do the kit due to the quality of the company that you manufacture it was a learning curve and worked out perfectly. Thank you very much for your nice manufacturing and ability to let the customer be a do it yourself with instructions

Worst Lock Design Ever

I will preface by saying that I like the look of the lock, the installation was easy, and the price was good. Now to the bad. The thumb lock design is horrible. It is supposed to unlock when you open from the inside, but that is only if you turn it the correct way. If you turn it to left, it unlocks. If you turn it to the right, it stays locked. This is ridiculous. You have to make sure that it is either locked or unlocked depending on if you are leaving or just walking outside. Sometimes, that ...
