What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this textured coating for its versatility across metal and outdoor applications—from truck beds to toolboxes, trailers, and lawn equipment. Most highlight excellent adhesion to clean surfaces, strong resistance to chipping and rust, and durability lasting years even under harsh conditions. Many appreciate the quick drying time and forgiving spray application that builds even finishes without runs. However, some report inconsistent spray performance, with certain cans failing to dispense or clogging mid-use. Despite these reliability issues, most customers find the product highly effective and worthwhile for diverse protective coating needs.

Would Not RecommendI expected a smooth rubbery finish like Rhino lining but it's kind of a rough dry finish.

A true problem solver
Would RecommendThe color and texture makes plastic trim and molding look like new material. You can touch up a spot and it blends beautifully. It bonds well to plastic, but should have a primer or base coat of existing paint for metal (doesn't bond well on bare metal). The impossible task of revitalizing rubberized or plastic window trim is made super easy with this stuff. It maintains a mild level of flexibility and is durable. To wash it, use a brush and soapy water. A sponge or rag will tear from the slig...

Worth a try, for the price.
Would RecommendFull sized Chevy truck bed= need 4 cans. Not very thick, but seems to work. Haven't scratched it yet, but looks good. Give me a month or so, to find out!

Expensive
Would RecommendI got this to spray my tool box, hoping the rough finish would not scar up like regular paint. I also like the flat finish. It took 2 cans to spray a regular size truck tool box and at almost 8 bucks per can, it would take 40 cans to spray a truck bed, what it's advertised for. I just sprayed it so I'm not sure how it will hold up to loading stuff in the truck bed.

Not what you think
Would Not RecommendThis is nothing but flat black spray paint. It was in the section with undercoatings and bed liner spray.

Not impressed
Would Not RecommendIt was very difficult to get an even spray, regardless of how I held the can. There isn't as much texture as I was expecting, either. I would recommend using Dupli-Color brand over this, I've had much better luck with it. Auto Zone sells it for pretty near the same price. Now that it is on though, it does seem pretty durable.

Good for small jobs
Would RecommendI used this product in conjunction with the Rustoleum roll-on product to coat an enclosed trailer floor. I sprayed the wheel wells and hard to reach areas with the spray and they came out great. I can't say that I had the same success with the large floor area that I rolled on. The product goes on thin, very similar to paint and is not a thick coating like a professional bed liner.

Would Not RecommendClaims to create rubber type seal, not very flexible, thick or durable, will try another brand

Not good enough
Would Not RecommendThis product is ok for the rails, and coating the sides of a bed, but I can imprint the product and cut it with my fingernail 2 weeks after applying it. It does not form a tough/ hard layer. It's very soft and has already scratched off in several spots on the bed floor, and I haven't even done anything tough with it... simply carried a blower and weedeater. I'm going to have to redo the whole thing... with another product.

It's like crack in a can
Would RecommendVery good bedliner for various uses. I've used it to bedline numerous things in my Jeep. Most recently, a center console I made. I've used it on my side mirrors, bumpers, grill, etc. The spray can wouldn't be good for lining an entire truck bed, but you could if you wanted to, I suppose. Goes on easy, dries quickly, has a nice texture and is tough. I sprayed one light coat on my console, then decided to change something on the console, so I had to sand off part of it. It didn't come off very eas...

Truck Bed Spray Lining = AWFUL
Would Not RecommendI use a lot of spray on products as a contractor. Rustoleum products are typically very good. NOT SO with this product! I put it over new paint that had been down for about a week. I know the drill so I made sure that the area was roughed up a bit and completely clean and decreased. Some of it went down fine and got a nice textured finish. Some of it did not raise up into a textured finish & looked like black paint & some of it almost bubbled up like a deep texture. Adhesion was awful. I used my...
