Would Not RecommendAt the cost that is charged for wood products, it would be nice to not have to go through the entire inventory to find usable, ( not checked/warped/cracked/cupped/or otherwise damaged. This particular purchase took over an hour to find a usable length. Terrible

Building gate
Would RecommendI used this board to help build a gate. It was light weight but strong enough to make the gate. It took pain very well. For these reasons it is perfect for this project.

Lumber quality
Would RecommendI make custom cabinetry and furniture in my shop at home. The pricing and quite a bit cheaper than dimensional lumber from a mill and less work to make a finish product:) The reason for the 4 rating is because of storage. The stacking of lumber on a flat surface is best, of course space restriction is key in a warehouse and most stores are vertical which causes boards to warp easier if stacked wrong or placed on angles with no support. Overall very happy with the lumber.

Great wood for DIY
Would RecommendGot this poplar 1x3 to make my own frame and panel shaker style cabinet doors. Wanted something a bit nicer than typical pine and this has done the job nicely. Only downside is that it was pretty difficult to find a straight board in the store selection.
