What Customers Are Saying
The poplar boards are generally of good quality, with many customers praising the straightness, flatness, and lack of defects in the wood. The boards were easy to work with, produced a nice finish, and were suitable for a variety of DIY projects. However, some customers had to sort through multiple boards to find the few that were straight and defect-free, and a few mentioned variations in thickness. While a small number of reviewers found the boards to be of poor quality, the majority were satisfied, finding the wood easy to stain and finish, with consistent grain patterns and a lack of knots.

Poplar Boards
Would Not RecommendWe recently purchased several of these boards to redo some trim in our kitchen. Unfortunately, our Lowe's only had green ones in stock (which we have never used before and our Lowe's usually always has the "yellow" ones). We will never buy green again! The grain keeps popping up even after multiple sanding, priming, sanding, painting, sanding, painting... you get the idea! ug!

A board
Would RecommendIt’s just a board, so there’s really not much to rate about it. Although I did have to sort through many of them to find a straight one, but I did, so all’s good

Corner and door work on shed
Would RecommendFortunately boards came in almost perfect lengths for working I was doing. Very paintable. Much harder than what was being replaced. Shed looks 100%better.
