Very poor quality

Normally I prefer to pick the materials up myself but because of the Covid-19 situation I decided to request delivery. I now know what happens to all the material that has been rejected by the builders and others that shop in store. That junk gets sent to the homeowners that pay an arm and a leg for delivery. Good enough for simple

The stain grade wood is not easily stained. It was not expensive and worked well.

Evertrue pine moulding is Terrible wood

All the wood in stock was what I have learned is called Latewood. The pitch through out the boards are very dense. 1. the boards would not easily take a stain even after extreme preparation )sanding cross grain various grits, pre-coatings and use of several types of dye, water, oil) did not matter. 2. Because the pitch rings were so dense it is not a pretty wood to work with. Whomever is purchasing this wood for Lowe's needs to have supplier up the quality.

Perfectly straight, flawless,and surprisingly hard for pine -- I think it must be Ponderosa Pine, or what "back east" we called "yellow pine". Very glad I kept looking, because it's a lot easier to do a good job if you have good materials.

Nice pine baseboards, some milling marks but overall not bad. Stained them cherry looks good will buy more.

Perfect Moulding

The moulding perfectly matched my current moulding.

Baseboards

Installed these in my remodeled bathroom and are very easy to paint cut and install, when cutting to size needed no splinters or bad cut marks. Not as expensive as other comparable baseboards.
