Would Recommendan added layer of protection. however it doesnt lay flat on the door trim unless u cut out behind it. we did not want to do that so it makes the door have to be pushed tight to clise

Would RecommendAs im getting older i find myself slowing down a bit. I put two on my door. It could mean the difference between being ready and not. Everyone in America should have one on their door. Especially elderly folks like me. I did use a 3 inch screw in the middle hole on the u loops.

It gives you ADVANCED WARNING of a door breech WHICH CAN BE SEEN AND HEARD from within your home....GIVING YOU TIME TO RESPOND....It is relatively INEXPENSIVE...$6.49....to replace when broken....A different design product WHEN INSTALLED, WOULD REQUIRE NEW HOLES TO BE DRILLED IN YOUR DOOR AND DOOR FRAME....!

Would RecommendThis is such a great lock. Very easy to install and I have several of them as secondary locks to our house. It adds an extra layer of protection when we are home.

Would RecommendI like the security that swing guards provide more than chain guards, but make sure it fits your door. The moulding on mine sits too high for this to work without modifying the geometry.
