Would RecommendThis is a very sturdy item with I nice finish. But unfortunately I’m having trouble lining it up with door framing because the door and frame are at two different levels. I choose this one over the chain type because I didn’t want the damage from the chain mechanism.

Works as designed but not if you have door trim
Would Recommendworks great except on doors that have trim around the edge. for us worked fine on front door but our rear door and garage door have trim so it did not sit flat and could not be used on those doors easily.
