Would RecommendJust moved In to a new house, have these on all doors! Love them
Straight forward
Easy instillation and excellent quality. I put Swing guards on my 5 exterior doors in under and hour. They last with the abuse of small children in the cold winters of Alaska. Great product
Looks Good but it is NOT NOT NOT
Would Not RecommendThis is constructed of a cheap zinc alloy commonly referred to as "pot metal". There are little standards for pot metal. The manufacturer just includes whatever mix of metals will provide a low melting point necessary for a cheap casting process. Over time pot metal tends to degrade and fracture easily. In this unit the ball arm will fracture at the mounting plate. In a security item this is a very bad characteristic. Think about whether you really want to risk finding your grandkid out play...
