Ratings & Reviews for RELIABILT Mailbox Post Black Steel Flat Mount Mailbox Post
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the post's heavy-duty steel construction with galvanized finish and powder coating, emphasizing durability in harsh weather and ability to support heavier mailboxes without bending. Most highlight straightforward assembly with pre-drilled mounting plates, completing installation in under an hour. The sleek black matte finish and modern design enhance curb appeal compared to traditional wooden posts. Some note the 4'4" height falls short of USPS requirements when set in concrete, and a few experienced alignment issues between sections or missing hardware. Overall, reviewers consider it a reliable, attractive upgrade that exceeds expectations.

perhaps the single worst purchase I've ever made.
Would Not RecommendThis box is so poorly designed an hour long project is now spanning into 4 days. This the worst post I've ever put up. If you have to use the mounting expander, which I did, not enough hardware is included. Tools needed, shovel ( not post hole digger), screwdriver, wrench; okay, what size wrench?
Great price and easy to install
Would RecommendEasy to install

Mailbox post
Would RecommendThis mailbox post is heavy duty. The post comes in two sections at True together in the middle and the assembly is very easy. It has an attached plate already secured at the top of the post ready to attach your mailbox. Easy to install into the ground, the only downside is that it can rotate from right to left Since it’s a solid round post at the bottom and nothing holding it in place. Overall, it’s done a good job and hopefully it will stand for years to come
Couldn’t get the two sections to align straight
This is a two part post. The way the sections are connected is not good, and after several attempts I could not get the two sections to align. Also, one of the sections had damage to the paint and it was rusted.

Great post
Would RecommendThis mailbox pole is heavy duty and feels like it will last a long time, I replaced a old wooden on with this and it is so much better. It was easy to install my mailbox on the top after getting the post set up
Concrete install problems
Would Not RecommendThe box says a concrete footer is recommended. I followed post setting instructions on Sakrete Fast Setting Concrete. It spins and wobbles in the hole since there's nothing for the concrete to grip to. Wouldn't recommend installing in concrete without modifying it.
