Would Not RecommendBecause the length of this unit is 4'4" (52"), and the post office requires 45" from ground to bottom of mailbox, this is really too short, even with concrete. If they'd included a third segment, it would be perfect. the typical pre-made wooden versions are 72" long. Be ready to McGyver this.

Would Not RecommendIt wobbles when you open and shut mailbox door where the pole locks together. Bottom section is secured in concrete. The top 1/2 is weak, I'm thinking of putting a rod of rebar inside the post and filling with concrete. If that doesn't work I'll need to find a better post to replace.

Would Not RecommendWhen the neighbors who replaced our broken mailbox pole, they told us the 22 gauge steel pipe pole was too weak to secure our mailbox. They replaced that pole with a 4x4 treated wooden mailbox pole. We ended up returning the pole and mailbox as inadequate to their purpose. The better choice, which we did not find at Lowe's, would have been a better choice.

It wobbles when you open and shut mailbox door where the pole screws together. We added a screw add glue but still unsteady. Just to make sure you understand the pole is mounted in cement and that part is fine
