Would RecommendPerfect replacement post for almost any application. My cast aluminum mail box weighs 20lbs. My existing post is made of very thin aluminum and is falling apart due to corrosion. The mounting pad is very thin steel, also very corroded. This post is heavy steel, galvanized, powder coated, and is rated for much more than 20lbs. I'll need to drill some new mounting holes. Easy job. It looks great........ Unlike my mail box. I need to get to work!
