What Customers Are Saying
Most customers report satisfactory performance, particularly with shorter runs under 20 feet or dual-end feeding, praising even watering and durability. However, many experience uneven water distribution on longer lengths, with flow concentrated in the first few feet and little output further down. Several note the flexible, easy-to-cut material works well for custom layouts and lasts years. Some mention clogging from mineral deposits after one or two seasons. A few report defective connectors or temporary rubber odor. Overall, reviewers find it effective when properly configured but inconsistent on standard 50-foot runs.

Would Not RecommendI bought a few rolls of tubing several years ago and they worked great. I replaced a section recently with this, and it is terrible. Not sure what has changed, but all the other bad reviews are 100% accurate. The first foot shoots water all over the place, nothing after. I’m using a pressure regulator and water is supplied to both ends of the hose.
Garbage even in short lengths
Would Not RecommendI do have experience with drip irrigation so I didn't decide to use this soaker line without the proper planning. I bought it to use on some potted trees that aren't yet ready for ground planting. I used a 25 psi pressure regulator and 1/2" main line with 1/4" tubing feeder lines to individual pots. Attached to each feeder line is 5 ft of soaker for each of 8 trees in 15 to 25gal pots. (This raindrip does not have a flow rate listed but Orbit's 1/4" soaker line states 0.25-GPH every 5-ft at 25...
Drip irrigation soaker tubing
Would RecommendThis is great for watering plants in an area where you can’t have extra spray I eat on a house or anything like that. It’s great for herbs put it in the subsoil about an inch down in urban planner and it takes care of all the watering needs.

Good product
Would RecommendI like that this isn't made out of plastic and that is is very moveable. We haven't had any problems with it so far as we redid our irrigation system with it.

Drip line soaker hose
Would RecommendI find this the best way to water a shrub bed without any loss of water due to evaporation.

Works fine now but..
Bought the kit and the hose connector fitting was defective. Didn’t discover it until the tubing was all laid out and the sprinkler heads were installed. Rather than rip it all out and return it, I bought another connector and fixed it. Kinda bummed that I had to go to the hassle. Rain bird needs to improve their QC.

GARBAGE
Would Not RecommendThis hose is complete garbage wish I could tried it before cutting the pieces I needed. Does not drip unless water is flow is cranked up but if you do then it sprays Soooo..... If your Lowes has the recycled tire version you will be much happier.
Preposteruously Bad
As others have indicated, it pours water out the few feet and the far end of a 10 foot run barely gets wet. I've used soaker hose for years to water my vegetable garden and don't know what brand I used. But I never had an issue until I ran out of hose and had to buy more. I bought this stuff and didn't know I had a problem until I completed my installation. Simply not fit for use. Will buy another brand.
