What Customers Are Saying
Most customers report satisfactory performance, particularly with shorter runs under 20 feet or dual-end feeding, praising even watering and durability. However, many experience uneven water distribution on longer lengths, with flow concentrated in the first few feet and little output further down. Several note the flexible, easy-to-cut material works well for custom layouts and lasts years. Some mention clogging from mineral deposits after one or two seasons. A few report defective connectors or temporary rubber odor. Overall, reviewers find it effective when properly configured but inconsistent on standard 50-foot runs.

Would Not RecommendI'm so glad I decided to switch over from drip emitters to soaker hoses. My garden looks so much cleaner and it's wasting a lot less water.

Great idea.
Would RecommendThis is a great alternative to individual drip emitters for garden or trees. I cut it into 18" lengths so I could space it out with plain tubing, ends are all capped with a 1/4" plug so I can flush them out if needed. We have hard water, I have to replace emitters on a regular basis but soaker tubing in the garden is going strong after 3 years so I'm expecting similar results from this tubing.

Total junk
Would Not RecommendPlugged after the first month. Only worked for the first 2 or 3 feet at both ends when new.
Making trees happy
Works great to create underground rings around trees.

It works - but use it properly
Would RecommendThe people writing bad reviews about this soaker tubing seemingly expect it to defy the laws of physics. You cannot possibly expect uniform discharge on a 1/4in line that's 50ft long. Think about it: it is fed from a single, tiny supply point and is losing pressure as it drips all along the length from that point... You will either need to limit the length of your runs, or intercept the larger diameter line that supplies it multiple times along the length of the 1/4in soaker tubing. I fed 12i...
Soaker Hose not 100%
Would RecommendI've been using this product for about 40 years. It has been getting worse of late. Only 50% of that which I bought last month weeps as it should. Half a row of garden seeds gets water, the other half does not. Must discard half of the tubing and hope the next installation works. Other idea is to install a string of drippers along the rows and let them fill in between. I recommend it with the expectation the next batch works much better. Currently, 2 1/2 stars out of 5.
