Major Defects

We are working on a home renovation and purchased this flooring for our new master bedroom and Kitchen. We purchased 75 boxes and about 25 had major flaws from manufacturing. Huge white glue strip on the side and lots of cloudy Mark's. Our local Lowe's refused to return or exchange because their policy recently had changed to a 90 day return policy. We had a receipt and purchased with our Lowe's credit card. I am still stuck with this defective flooring that cant be used.

Looks Great

Looks great as a finished product. Pretty simple to install provided you are meticulous with your measurements for cuts and tapping the joints together. Was able to lay 600 sq feet by myself over a weekend. Used the recommended underlayment for extra padding as the sub flooring was not smooth.

nice usa made laminate

I installed and we've been living with it over a yr. Got 7 kids and therefore we are giving this flooring a lot of use. It has held up well though.

Absolute Worst Flooring I Have Ever Installed

Wish I could give it 0 stars!! 3 days we have totally wasted trying to get this floor to stay together...still have gaps. Have only opened 4 boxes and not all the planks have been used, yes that is all we have gotten accomplished and it looks HORRIBLE with huge gaps. The so-called "Locking" system does NOT lock. Our floor is level. Bought 53 boxes...did we get a BAD batch?? I have been waiting for years to get the old carpet replaced and now I wish I had my old dirty carpet back.

Absolutely Love This Flooring

Recently we updated our dining room and kitchen I am soooo pleased with the results my flooring was installed without any issues whatsoever.. the color texture and quality is outstanding.... getting ready to update my hallway upstairs and will definately use this flooring I read other reviews that were not so nice, any product can have its flaws but I can say we are beyond happy with our floors...

Chips

Well started installing the 750 Sq. Ft. That I bought, and several hours later went back and a fairly decent size chip came up into my girlfriends foot. And so far I've found two other smaller chips and a piece of the padding missing. Has a good look to it but really sick to the stomach about it and hope it will last with no more chips.

Looks great!

Easy to install. The hand scraped details are great. I like the wider width of the planks. Would definitely recommend.

With a pull bar and a hammer these go in very easy, has a good look.

Decent flooring

My husband had an easy time installing this (he does, however, have a background of 16 years in the construction industry). The color is just what we wanted. The only drawback is that it isn't waterproof, but we knew that going in.

An attractive, quality flooring option

After comparing several different brands, styles, and color options my wife and I settled on the Quickstep Harrison Hickory flooring to redo the entire ground floor of our home. The good: the flooring has rich and consistent coloring that gives the appearance of a real wook plank floor without the associated cost and installation hassle. The attached pad beneath the flooring seems thick and resiliant and eases installation (way nicer than rolled underpadding). The boards snap together well ...

Looks Nice but... a year later still very smelly

I installed this about a year ago. I immediately noticed a strange odor from the room in which it was installed. The floor has held up well under light use and looks great and authentic. Unfortunately I may have to rip it up since it smells so bad. Even a year later. I'm kind of concerned what I have been breathing in. I would not recommend using this

We’ve only had it for a few weeks but totally obsessed! We picked another brand, but half way through the installation, the installer found a lot of defects. We picked this second, and so glad we did!

Do NOT waste your money! You've been warned!

This is cheap flooring. The "Click-Lock System doesn't click or lock at all. No matter how tight you've got the joint, if you sneeze it comes undone. The directions on the company's website were worthless. This was nothing but frustration from start to finish. You get what you pay for!

Used this flooring in my dining room area and it came out perfect! Love the color.

some pieces not square on ends

Over the past several years I have installed several thousand feet of laminate. And I have used other colors of the One Step product. While installing the Harrison Hickory throughout a house I kept having the problem of the ends not butting up perfectly square. Nothing real serious until I had a piece that was a serious problem.
