Lint fibers were a deal breaker

I normally like Purdy products but this was not a good experience. I delinted with masking tape, washed and delinted again. Still ended up with Lint on my cabinet doors. This was a 3rd and final coat which I now need to sand I repaint. I used a different brand mohair blend roller for first two coats with much better results with almost no lint. Purdy=Quality

Buying Purdy products truly is about quality. This roller pad was expensive but it worked perfectly for my needs and I will be able to reuse the roller which is not usually the case with lesser brand products.

Parrot mini rollers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mini mohair mini sleeves were game changer for me! Allowed me to roll cabinet boxes inside of home leaving a finish like it was sprayed!!! Sprayed cabinet doors off site! Keep mess inside home to a minimum!

Full of Lint

I had to paint some desktop's and I wanted a smooth finish so I got the Parrot rollers hoping for a very smooth finish. First thing I did was de-lint the roller covers. Then I washed the rollers and de-lint the rollers again. I was using a semi-gloss paint. I started painting the desktop's and all I see is lint in the paint as I'm rolling. I had to stop and let the paint dry and then sand the desktop's again and primer the desktop's again. Now I have to find a different roller that will have a v...

Great roller brand

Work great as expected. Good brand with good results.

Not for furniture projects

Disappointed with these 1/4" nap roller covers. Refinishing a table and chairs and it left hairs in the paint. Never saw anything like it. I paid a premium for these rollers. Anyway, I had to re-sand everything I painted. I'll return the ones I did not use.

Not acceptable product

Roller leaves curved mark in paint. Now I must sand walls, clean and repaint. What are you going to do about it?

If you buy try on a small part of your project.

I bought these without reding these reviews. Luckly for me I saw these reviews before trying on my actually small finished shiplap wall project. It was already sanded and primed and was ready to pain after nailing to the wall. I want the small no texture appear of a sprayer without using a sprayer. I think that being a thin roll makes it more precise and leaves a better surface.

Great Product

i keep seeing reviews of these so called "painters" leaving 1 star because it left lint. Any real painter would cover the entire nap with tape to remove any loose lint before painting any surface. This is a good smooth finishing product when used by the right hands.

Great for Cabinets...

Found this at my local hardware store. And love this roller!! Used it on interior trim and cabinets. Works great, no problems.

This product is the only product I use when I apply finish coats on our garage doors, entry doors, or other wood staining projects. I have 15 years of staining/finishing experience on wood products and this product beats them all. I see a lot of terrible ratings on this product. Its unfortunate. Do not buy!

I’m generally a big fan of Purdy products when it comes to painting, everything from brushes to roller covers. So when it came time to paint my doors, it was a no brainer to buy a Purdy product. Unfortunately it did not leave a smooth finish and also started to leave lint. Luckily I was able to wipe some of the lint off and hit the door with my foam roller which gave way better results. Purdy, stop selling this garbage, you’re just watering your brand down.

Rough and full of lint

I have been painting for over 50 years and this is the first time that a roller proved to be completely useless after the second stroke. The painted area was full of lint and quite bumpy. It looked the complete opposite of glass-like finish, high quality or professional. Luckily, I was able to wipe off all the paint and save having to sand it off.

Terrible product

I bought this at the suggestion of the salesperson and I couldn’t be more disappointed. This product leaves lint and doesn’t even come close to a mirror finish. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

Typical Purdy Roller... Excellent

It's a paint roller. 1/4" nap so very smooth, no real texture. Bought for doing my doors. Worked as expected.

This Cover was recommended by a Friend and it was perfect for Staining Wooden Floors. Covering was easy and smooth.
