This roller put the polyurethane down with no trouble at all. It performed as advertised.

Horrible

Horrible roller and expensive failure as I also had to buy the handle that goes with it. The handle that will fit no other brand of roller cover. I was refinishing cabinetry and got hooked in by your mirror like finish claim. I may as well have used an old piece of shag carpet to put the paint on - that’s how bad it looked. I had to sand off the mess and go buy another brand of 1/4” nap roller covers.

Roller did a very good on putting down Seal Krete Clear-Seal on my concrete.

Holds the Paint Well

This roller holds the paint well and apply to the wall smoothly.

Worked okay ut not peerfect

The roller cover states it is for applying urethane finish. The first coat left a lot of small hairlike debris in the finish that had to be sanded off. Before putting on a second coat I consulted on the internet to see if there might be a solution to this. The recommendation that I rinse the roller off with mineral spirits first before using it seemed prudent and certainly not detrimental in any way. No smoother finish than Dove, more lint

I had been using the Dove roller covers with good results. I decided to try the Parrot to achieve an even smoother finish. In the end, the finish is no smoother - just has a different texture (less of an "orange peel" and more of a "leather" texture). My main complaint, however, is that these covers shed fibers - badly! I always tack my roller covers off with masking tape before use to catch loose fibers, and despite that, the things still left fibers embedded in my finish. I like Purdy brushes ...

This product left a lot of lint and did not give the mirror finish

I used this product straight out of the package. I was very disappointed in the out come. I have to sand it down and start over. I will not use this product again it is a waste of time and money

Parrot roller loses hair on oile based paint

I have used this roller . Then I had to repaint again it loses hair alot

not exactly a mirror finish

I would not use on a door or any wall panel, as they are ultra smooth. perhaps drywall as a good prime roller to eliminate orange peel,but it has a tendency to slide on super smooth surfaces. The packaging states best to use with clears and enamels, though. i dont agree and definitely not worth the $7 you spend on two roller sleeve expecting "mirror" results. id say this would be best suited for weathering or knocking down/ repurposing furniture to give a sacrificial coat to achieve primitives.
