Ratings & Reviews for PULSE Lanikai Chrome 8-in Shower Faucet Bar System with 3-way Diverter

Not A Fan

I have had 2 of these units that went bad and it was the same problem, When going back and forth from overhead sprayer to wand and back to overhead it got to the point it would not switch, Both units did the same thing, 1 was 5 months old and Lowes replaced it at not charge and the 2nd one was 6 months old, so now I'm talking to the manufacturer to see where that leads. NOT A RECOMMENDATION For this unit at all, A piece of C#%*!!!!

Used item

When I opened the box, some of the plastic parts bags were opened and empty. The gasket bag was open and I found the gaskets already installed. The plastic bag for the allen wrench was open and empty. I found the wrench loose in the box. Not happy to get a used shower bar for the price of new. I bought it on line since neither of the Lowes in my area stock this product. Fortunately, I got the shower bar installed and it works.

With hesitation

Although the product alone is superior, I had ordered the brush nickel unit through the store. The delivery was so late, (by over 1 week) and I had plumbers scheduled, I went to the store, bought the chrome finish model, and my plumber installed it. When the correct item was delivered, it took just 15 minutes to make the switch. A wonderful addition to my newly remodeled bathroom shower. The price was also less expensive than expected for sooo much shower pleasure.

body jets, more like face jets

So I have not used this yet as my house is under constructuon but the "body" jets are more like neck and face jets. The top jet is around 70 inches high, not sure how tall you have to be for that to be a body jet. I contacted Pulse but they arent any help and said there is no way to move it down unless you adjust the pipe coming out the wall. Seems to me there should be an extension of some type if this is advertised as an aftermarket replacement since people and showers come in different height...

Doesn't come with shower valve or rough-in!

I wished they would habe specified what other materials were needed. it wasn't until after I purchased did i learn I needed another part! Most trim aren't so solo, and when they are you still babe to buy the rough in. It was VERY hard trying to find something to match this style, design, finish.

Not at all happy! The 3 body sprays hit at face level! No way to lower the bar and keep hight of the rain head!!!!! Really disappointed!!

Great Shower System

We are so happy that we purchased the Pulse 3-way shower Bar System. It is like having a spa in your shower. The adjustable heads make it convenient for people of various heights. We purchased it and had it installed by a plumber. We are happy with the results and would recommend the Pulse Lanikai 3-way Shower Bar System.

Timer on the shower for husband to get out...

I used this shower head on our new basement renovations and my husband is obsessed. I had to literally put a timer in the shower to get him out. I rated it 4 stars because you can only use one shower head at a time. No extra plumbing needed. It looks very high end on our shower.

Fantastic Shower Love it

Works exactly as predicted. We have had it for a year now and absolutely love it. My wife wanted a raid shower and I wanted a body shower. This resolves that and then some. Installed easily. I purchased extra nipped because I thought I would need it but did not use it. The you tube videos helped a lot. Easy install. My only issue was the pipe has a slight angle on it but I used the bottom screws on the unit and it pulled it in place. We just went on a cruise with a small shower and normal shower...

be informed:

This elaborate shower unit is designed to replace existing unit.If it is new construction ,you will need the hot/cold valve to hook it up .The directions tell you this. The switch on the unit is for the individual head control.

Missing parts

I ordered this shower hear for a complete bathroom remodel. Yes it's pretty. Works great. But It's missing an essential piece. It's missing The little screw that olds the bottom mount in place

Great shower head

I balked at this purchase due to the price. We looked at many others and this is worth the money paid. It took less than an hour to install - from taking old one out to turning the water on - on the new one. One thing I was surprised with was the shower head height adjustment, 3" up or down. The unit comes with a 2" nipple to hook up to the shower pipe, I bought a 21/2 nipple while at the store just to be safe. I ended up using the larger one so be sure to check the depth you will need. One con ...

Very Unique Way to Mondernize Your Shower

Found a very good looking combination shower system on Lowes.com made by PULSE Shower Spas. You can convert your single, conventional shower head into a rain shower head, a hand held shower head, and a three head body massage without a plumber or any special tools. The manufacturer has a website and a step-by-step video of how to install this quite unique, good looking shower system. I had one small, but important issue with an extension nipple from the water pipe inside the wall. I called their...

Wife has to turn off the hot water to get me out

Amazine quality, great versatility for out of the ordinary installation needs. Delivery was ahead of scheduled date.

Pulse Lanikai Rain ShowerSpa model: #1028-CH

I was impressed both with the quality of materials and the ease of installation as well as the reasonable price point. This unit provides an 8-inch rain shower head, three adjustable body jets and a hand shower wand. Pulse has a neat and informative video on you-tube that will walk you through the easy installation. It really did take less than 30 minutes to install. I enjoyed the Pulse ShowerSpa so much that I purchased two more and installed them in both guest bathrooms in my home. My simple s...

Great shower head

Love each head on this the only reason I did not give it an excellent is because you can use only one shower head at a time.
