A little disappointed

The light is very cute. It has a very vintage/farmhouse look to it. But the outside casing is made of hard plastic,not metal like some. The light bulb cover is also a hard plastic. The light was easy to install and provides adequate lighting by the outside door.

Good economy lighting

This fixture is lightweight and basic. It is good for the cost yet I don't expect it to be a long term solution. The plastic nuts holding the fixture to the wall seem too light for it to hold long term. The rest of the fixture seems fine. The 2 screws holding the globe fixture are small and I was concerned that I would drop one and never fine it again. I would still recommend this product as it is good for the price.

Outdoor decorative light

I was surprised to find out that this cage is not metal. The cage is a plastic material. We will see how long the light lasts in the weather and winds of the country life. The light looks nice when installed. Just hope all the plastic parts don’t break. Makes for a nice decorative light.

Ok if it's your style

I agreed to review this product because I just happened to be between outdoor fixtures as my patio fixture ballast had just burned out. It's not really my style, but it would fit the bill. I will say, this thing is super lightweight. The entire body is plastic. I'm not sure how it will hold up here in the high desert where temps reach 115 and winds reach 50 knots, but I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised. Looks good and works fine!

I had a black outdoor wall light that didn’t go with my white porch and my white rocking chairs. I had my eye out for a white one and I thought this one was really cute. It was super easy to install. I just removed the old black one, twisted a couple wires together and attached the new one. It took about ten minutes and it’s perfect! I do need to buy one of those longer LED bulbs but other than that I love it!

Looks nice, but light plastic construction

A replacement seemed well overdue for our original patio light fixture, so this one seemed to fit the bill. I was first taken aback by the all plastic construction, it was very light and felt cheap. The round back plate is also plastic and seemed very thin--how much more would production costs be to double the thickness' to give it more of a stable feel? Won’t rust !

You don’t have to worry about this light rusting it’s made entirely of plastic. It was very easy to install everything included except a bulb I only needed a screwdriver. The only problem I had was dropping a screw 2 needed to assemble the unit which are very small it would be helpful to include an extra one. It’s a nice look on my house and it should last a long time. I used a smart bulb so I can dim or brighten it from my phone. Just remember keep track of the two screws.

Doesn’t feel durable

I understand the principle for being all plastic and not metal. It is non corrosive and would excel in salt water environments. However, I am disappointed with the plastic thickness of this wall light, especially the back plate. I think it should of been thicker and not as flimsy. I question the durability being exposed to the weather elements. Installation was easy except for final step. It is a little cumbersome to install two screws upside down when attaching globe to base plate.
