Would RecommendGood looking light fixture, but it does have lightweight plastic construction. One of the lights I looked at already had the top ring broken off. I was fitting the fixture above a door right under the roof line. This fixture is compact and does not extend far above the mounting plate, although I had to cut the top ring off to fit. Would Not RecommendFor almost $50, I expected a high-quality metal fixture. Nope; all plastic. Even the acorn nuts holding the fixture to the mount are 100% plastic. They don't even have metal thread inserts. The bulb cover is glass, but that does not remotely justify the price. Doesn't even include a light bulb.
