Good quality brush for paint or stains.

Nice general purpose paint brush for oil paints and stains on flat surfaces. I used it on water based paint and it did a good job with easy clean up. Would recommend to others since it performed and held up well though the initial use.

Nice quality brush at a budget price

The angled brush is great for trim or touch up use. It is made of a combo of polyester and natural bristle. It is a compromise for pure natural bristle brushes but it provides good coverage at a lower cost. For the average homeowner job it was perfectly adequate. One place where the budget brush was more obvious is that it shed a lot of bristles during cleanup.

Good quality and versatile.

Received this item and have used it twice so far. First use was for an interior latex on a small wall in my house, brush performed well and had good quality constriction. After cleaning and drying I used again to put another coat of stain on a small table and after a little initial streaking the brush did fine and I was able to complete the job. I have used high end brushes in the past for various projects and this brush did just as well as the expensive ones, especially on that first use.

Good angle brush

Has a good feel in your hand when using it. Cuts nice for the trim jobs. This was my first angle brush with the soft bristles, it was not bad at all. At the time of washing it, I did not like that some of the bristles were falling out. This has not happened on other brushes I've used, especially not on the first wash. Other than that this worked perfect for the baby room we did the trim on.

Very Nice Paint Brush

I am painting the outside of my house. I am using white exterior paint. Halfway through this project, I upgraded to this brush. It was a great improvement over the cheap brushes I was using. Because the bristles are long, it is hard for the paint to run up to the handle. This brush lays the paint super smooth, is great for getting into tight spaces, and easy to clean up. Good Midrange Brush

A very nice looking brush with a long handle, which is good for me because i tend to put a lot of paint on me. The angle brush gave a lot of flexibility along edges and would serve nicely in corners and edges. The brush covered well with satin latex on both dry wall and plain plywood. A Good 3 Inch Paint Brush

This is a good large sized paint brush. It holds paint very well and covers a large area. The bristles do not shed. The brush strokes are very smooth. Clean up is simple but be sure to follow the instructions. It is rated for both oil based and water based paints but I only used it with a good water based paint. This brush is rated at "better" quality so I rated it a "4" instead of a "5".

It's a paint brush

I like that the handle is wider and thicker than similar paint brushes I have, less hand fatigue. It’s labeled as a flat surface brush, and I’d agree with using it (for painting) on more open flat surfaces, than for detail work or painting edges. The bristles aren’t at a very precise edge. The edge has somewhat of a wide and uneven cut. I’m just using it as a dust brush to clean my work bench and various shop tools. It works great for that.

Project source 2 inch trim and edge

I used the 2 inch project source for trim and edging. I compared it to name brands and off brands. I own my own business and do work for major retail and banks for foreclosure and homeowners. I really enjoyed using it. It helped to cut in trim work pretty fast. It goes well with high end paints. I will be able to get several more jobs out of the source project brush. Not Quite what I Expected

It's a paintbrush, but I wouldn't say there's really anything special about it. It gets the job done so if that's all you care about, it's worth it. But I was expecting something more. The grip is fine, bristles fine but if you're looking for a certain quality, this isn't it.

3" Better grade flat brush.

Lowes 3" brush for flat surfaces. Polyester/natural bristle. Suggested for oil paints and stains and flat surfaces. We used it to repaint a water stained closet with Kilz and regular paint afterward. We didnt lose any bristles and the brush heldand distributed paint well. Really couldn'tnote anything that stood out against comparative brushes. Packaging is labeled "Better" grade. Seems to be made well. Sturdy large handle and ferrule. Straight cut toe. Would recommend and use again.

Good quality, intended use a bit confusing

This is a good quality brush that comes in a Velcro sealed covering similar to those used on high end brushes. The bristles are silky smooth and soft. The cover is a good way to protect the brush when not in use and should be placed back on the brush once it has been cleaned and dried. Excellent middle grade choice

Found the Project Source 3 inch flat paint brush to be an excellent middle grade choice for all your oil based paints and stains. Found that with the paint i used that this brush did not drip and was able to coat my project easily. I would recommended this brush for ease of use and value

Pros - Nice sized handle. Angled bristles make cutting-in easier. Polyester bristles - cleans up quickly.. Cons - A little thick for working in small areas.

Works but with challenges

Liked the way it held product in the bristles. Just a little too wide to comfortably fit in the top of a gallon of poly. Bristles on the sides prone to getting "stuck" away from the rest of the brush.

Perfect size

Exactly what I needed. Small compact. Great price and great quality.
