Would RecommendThis kit was easy to install as the original lamp on/off switch was not functioning correctly. It was also priced accordingly. My only vice would be that Lowe’s should stock additional items because I had to go online and order parts from an online lamp parts store.

need better diagram/directions
I bought this because I think it is the answer for which I have searched to repair my husbands' antique lamp inherited from his grandmother. After reading the incredibly tiny print in the "installation manual", I still think it is the right component. However, after reviewing the wiring "diagram", I am almost afraid to proceed.
