Would RecommendExactly the right part. I needed a switch to control a light fixture with 2 lamps that run one, or the other, or both lamps lit. that is what this switch is. It was hard to find one of these, I am glad that Lowes had them. It is well made, and was easy to install.

Would RecommendWe bought three of these, the metal tab that is off-center for the second filament in the light bulb was visible but it did not come up to a level where it would contact the bottom of the bulb. They are still just fine for a single-wattage bulb so we are keeping them and we will work out the 3-way stuff later. One thing that we especially appreciate is the curbside pickup system--it is quick, simple and easy to do. Thanks, folks, nicely done!

Would Not RecommendPortfolio lamp switch. As soon as I turned knob I could feel poor quality. Detent stops for each power position were totally random. Power distribution was random within each rotation. Seems to have NO quality control. I couldn't feel comfortable that power was going where it belonged. Will definately be returning this item and shopping elsewhere for a quality part. Wish ZERO stars was an option. What a waste of time.
