What Customers Are Saying
The drywall anchors are reported to have mixed performance. Some users found them easy to install and able to securely hold heavy items, while others experienced issues with the anchors stripping, breaking, or failing to grip the drywall properly, leading to damage. The quality and reliability seem inconsistent, with the metal being too soft or the threading not mating correctly in some cases, causing the anchors to spin or pull out.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews. The anchors either will not hold tight in the wall or break entirely allowing the bolt to just spin. This happened with each of the three I attempted to install to put up a curtain rod. These may have been a quality product at one time, but they appear cheaply made now.

Awful
Would Not RecommendFirst 3 out of the box FAILED just like in the review by Jones "Horrible product" in April 2021. This used to be a good product - used in the past with good results. Current quality not up to past quality. AVOID.

Not a good product
Would Not RecommendFirst, I did all my installation work with a manual screwdriver, not a drill. I was able to collapse 2 anchors without realizing it. In order to get the anchor to expand properly, I had to count turns to make sure I did not overtighten it. THen back the screw out to mount the hardware I needed to hang a curtain rod. The anchor did not allow me to tighten the hardware down properly, as it started to collapse the anchors again. Very poor design, very flimsy, and I will throw the remainder of ...

You will regret buying these!
Would Not RecommendI bought these twice now over a period of two years and they have ruined my walls every time I try to use them. The screw is not welded together correctly, causing them to break just as the housing is starting to bend. Then the screw just free spins. Because they are flaired out a little bit, or twisted, they tear up the dry wall as you try to either push them through or pull them out to be able to fix the wall that you now have to patch. I just did a box and this happened with every single ...

Wall Anchors with a BAD Twist
Would Not RecommendI bought this box of 18 Blue Hawk anchors because I couldn't find my box of old Stanley hollow wall anchors to remount our bathroom towel bars and toilet paper holders that had plastic plug inserts. I thought the 1/4" collar on these anchors looked pretty short for 1/2" drywall, but the box says it works in walls that are 1/8" to 1/2". I used a screwdriver to start alternately tightening two adjacent anchors for one towel bar support. After a partial turn, I felt resistance. I attributed tha...

Bad Bar
Would Not RecommendCheap quality, poor design and the shower holder does not tilt or stay locked in place. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.
Falls apart too easily
Would Not RecommendI've been using molly bolts for a very long time. After buying our new home, I had a lot of stuff to hang on the walls. These anchors are usually a great go-to for heavier items requiring more than a nail in a hollow wall. Unfortunately, this brand is trash. After carefully hammering the first one into the wall, everything seemed normal. Started tightening the screw & about 1/2 way through, the exposed flange became disconnected from the stem (part inside the wall that expands and grips the...
super cheap
Would Not Recommendthey break off before they even grip the wall... buy TWICE the number you need because half of them will break off and be useless
2 out of 4 failed to install properly. Not worth it
Great with sheet-rock!!
Would RecommendWorks very well when you can't find wood support behind you sheet-rock.
best drywall hanger
Would RecommendThis expanding fastener is the very best for hanging objects on drywall, especially heavier objects. Once expanded it cannot be pulled out without tearing out a huge chunk of drywall. To remove, simply use a drill slightly larger than the screw hole. This will remove the external "flange". Push the remaining expanded barrel completely into the wall and fill in the 1/4" hole left by the fastener.

pretty good
Would RecommendPoor quality control on the crimped nut area part of the anchor. When this crimp fails, the whole thing is junk. When they work, they are fantastic and hold great. But, 2 out of 5 by my average, will fail. Sometimes i get lucky and just end up ruining 5 of 15. Lol
Not for what I need.
Would Not RecommendThis same anchor heeds to be made in 1 in. length for use on hollow core interior doors (ex.: for bath accessories). I thought I could modify these but chickened out at the last minute and ordered some screw type advertised for this use but in which I don't have much faith. We'll see.
