Great tool - DEAFENINGLY LOUD

This is a great, handy tool and does everything it is designed to do. I've even used it as a coping saw... but at 90-105 decibels (measured with a smart phone) it iS DEAFENINGLY LOUD!!! I have actually gotten to the point to where I dread using it (or maybe my ears are just too sensitive-you decide for yourself.

I like the quick change blade system but missed it on the packaging. Kind a limits blade options

I took it home only to find out you have to buy a battery and charger who does that someone who want yo to spend more. All my dewalt comes with charger and battery

Laughing at one star reviews

Whenever I read a review on a product I look at the one star reviews. Most cases you can tell the intelligence from the remarks of it didn't come with the battery or some options it was clearly marked on the box. I bought one of these and are used it for about 45 projects. I was in the middle of regarding a shower and it would just die. And he wasn't a battery. Went back to Lowes replaced it. I bought one of these,used it on some very light material,it worked well,needed new blades one day and decided to buy another tool kit as it was just slightly more than the blades,low and behold a VERY short time later #1 failed and # 2 did as well a short time later,this is after light, very infrequent use and I ALWAYS take good care of my tools. Battery and charger not included? Seriously???!!!!

I bought this tool and got it to the house and opened it to charge it up to use later today only to find out that the battery and charger were not included. If a person buys a cordless, battery operated tool doesn't it stand to reason they will be needing a battery and charger to go with that tool. When I saw the price tag on the battery and charger I figured out why they are sold separately. The tool was $70.00 and the battery and charger are $110.00. I guess $70.00 dollars just looks better ...

Awesome Tool

Makes quick work of trimming door molding when changing flooring. While this is a specialty tool, I can see it coming in handy for a number of jobs, and the time it saves, makes it worth the cost.

6 month review...almost

PCC710 oscillating tool has a good feel in the hand, and pretty well balanced. I would have liked to give a 6 month review, but failure struck after 5 months. The power wire to the motor broke off. I purchased another because after owning several other PC tools it made sense to stick with the brand. Surprisingly Awesome

I had an older Craftsman 120 volt tool that burned up on me and I decided to buy this Porter Cable 20volt because I already had the Drills and circular and reciprocating saws and really liked them. I was absolutely impressed with the power of this tool. I believe it works better than my old Craftsman tool that was 120 volt powered. Plus, it's cordless !! I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Works great. Just as advertised and has many uses.

Perfect tool

I found this to be perfect. It's not the most powerful one out there but if you have porter cable tools this is an awesome add on. Cuts clean and easy and the light is extremely helpful in those tight places.

Not very robust...

Bought the impact driver and oscillating tool and within 3 months I had to return both because they just died and quit working. PC has a great 90 day warranty and Lowe's will give you your money back if you have your receipt! Think I will buy the 1 yr warranty this as it will extend past the 90 day warranty. Good luck, great tools, just don't last very long for everyday use!!!!

Porter Cable

I am a Contractor and have corded and battery operated tools but I have been going to the battery powered tools more and more. I bought with tool combo at first impression it was everything I thought but it's only been a couple of months and already it's failing waste of money now I gotta get a new one because I use it daily in my line of work I am a finish carpenter should of stuck with dewalt the jigsaw and circular saw are good as well as the grinder

Exceptional tool!!

I use this tool as possible as I can. First off all, if you like DeWalt tools then you should like Porter cable since DeWalt now owns them. I will continue to use Peter cable as long as I can bc they have yet to let me down unless I forgot to charge th he battery. This tool can do so much it's unbelievable. Anyways but it, use it and I swear you'll be happy with it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Solid product

Feels very solid. Is easy to use and cuts great. This particular product did not come with a battery but I had one from a previous purchase.

really nice tool with great quick change feature

for a light duty battery operated unit this is a surprisingly good tool! comes with several accessories in a handy plasitc snap lid box. tool has good speed with larger battery. the quick change is super simple and feels very sound when locked in. has varible speed wheel but can't be easily adjusted whle in use. switch would be better as a trigger. the current design is a 'slider style' and falls under your hand while in use so you have to juggle it a little to turn it on/off which makes it a l...
