Doesn't cut 1x2 material

I can't get this to work for me. I have varied the speed and put on new blades. It oscillates but doesn't cut. If I push in harder the blade will stop oscillating. I love PC. But, this tool isn't working for me.

no power

bought this tool about 1 month ago. Not happy with it, as soon as you apply slight pressure to make a cut, it bogs down and will not cut

Got as a gift like it alot but it should come with an battery

Very good tool to have.

I use this tool fairly often in my work renovating homes. It is very light and is surprising how much run time you can get out of a battery.

No value.

I purchased one of these for a renovation i was doing and the motor burned out the third time i used it. Now it just a big weak flashlight. Get the corded saw and save the trouble.

Tool is great. Spend a little extra and get some better blades for it the ones that come are trash

No battery

Why would anyone want to buy a battery operated tool that does not come with a battery. I have liked PC tools in the past but this is just ridiculus.

NOISY

I was pleased with the corded version of this tool, and thought that it would be nice to have the cordless version for the times when one is on a ladder. However, this tool has a lot of room for improvement. The noise and vibration are ridiculously bad, and the battery gets in the way. Take a look at the Fein cordless tool, they figured out how to place the battery so it's less of an annoyance.

Good tool, but end cost is ridiculous

The packaging wasn't clear that no battery was included. I bought the tool for $65 but the battery and charger was $109. If it was more clear the battery wasn't included this would get 5 stars.

This tool is very easy to use great for hard to reach places and comes with blades and sanding pad and paper to get you going right out of the box.

Comfortable grip, strong oscillation

Bought the Porter Cable to match the rest of my gear. I do general contracting and have had the Porter Cable series last a very long time despite my ability to abuse the tools on a job site. The multi-tool has a comfortable grip, decently bright light, powerful oscillating, and seems to do quite a bit of work of the small battery it comes with.
