Easy to use

Can be used indoors and outdoors. Simply screw it in a 110V light socket. Can be used with or without lighting the LED light. I have used it outdoors for approximately 1 week and have only zapped a few tiny bugs/gnats - of course the temperature is becoming much cooler due to the time of year. The real test will be next summer during warmer weather.

Good concept but didn't fit in our light fixture

This is a great bulb that does the job of killing bugs, but it is bigger than a normal bulb and didn't fit in our light fixture by our front door, where we always get the most bugs. We moved it to our backyard and it does work. We can hear the zaps of the bugs every now and then. It does seem to attract them and do its job.

Good Combination

This is combination of an outdoor LED light and a ultraviolet bug light. It screws into any normal outlet. However, it is roughly 6 inches long and may be too tall for some fixtures. I can't comment on the effectiveness of the bug attraction or its ability to remove bugs from the environment as the summer and bug activity is pretty much over. The capture screen is readily available by unscrewing the top part of the bulb and includes a cleaning brush.

Easy to use

Easy to use screw into light socket and presto it's on. Turn on switch and both zapper and LED light turn on turn switch off and back on and only zapper turns on. First time I opened it up to clean ( cleaning brush inside unit) it was a little difficult I was afraid to break it but after that it opened easily. I have it in a metal storage building that was full of mosquitoes I was always getting bit but it solved the problem no more mosquitoes.

I wanted to try this light because of the mess bugs made around the light on my front porch. So I cleaned everything and installed the light. I like the feature that you can switch off the light and leave the bug zapper on for sitting on the porch in the evening. It lights up the porch nicely. Packs a punch!

I’m very impressed with this product. It’s very affordable in its purchase cost and it’s usage costs. We feed our pet cat in our out building. We were covered up with flys, gnats and stink bugs. I placed this light into the light socket and flipped the switch following the manufacturer instructions. Works like a charm. No more swarms of pests.which keeps us and our cat very happy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Insect Killer and LED is an interesting product. You can screw in the light bulb like normal and the light should work. There is a little blue light towards the base of it that is used to attract the insects but it is not bothersome. Also it does make a little noise sometimes when it gets one of the insects its kind of funny.

SCAM!!!

Got this thinking that I was getting a bug zapper. Not what I got at all. It's just two different lights in one. The blue/purple light isn't a fluorescent bulb like most bug zapper light bulbs. Its led instead. It in no way has the recommend uv light to actually attract any kind of bugs at all. Even if a bug managed to get inside. It doesn't have enough power to kill them. Great Indoor Bug Attractor

Purchase a new lamp just so I could put this bulb in it to try to get rid of gnats constantly bugging me in my home office. So now I'm out the cost of the lamp AND this garbage bulb! I had it installed for several days with a shade on the lamp and NOTHING. Gnats seemed even more active with it on. I really really wanted to love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have another PIC product (PIC 2-in-1 Insect Zapper) that we really like and I hoped this would be at least as effective, but it was not. I operated the two at the same time in the same space, and this bulb only captured a fraction of insects. With that said, it does work, just not as effectively as the PIC Zapper.
