gr8 insulation

Owens Corning makes great insulation! It installs easily and doesnt leave much of a mess. I'd recommend it to a friend or anyone doing insulation work.

Basic insulation

I got this for helping semi-finish some attic space. Fiberglass is a classic standby insulator; use of R38 was overkill but the precut size made it simplest in this case. If working in tight spaces, be aware the product thickness expands by about a factor of 3 to 4 once the outer plastic is removed.

Easy install

Very easy to install because of it being cut into 4ft sections. Our home is much warmer now. We are hoping to see a decrease in our utility bill.

Basement ceiling insulation

I installeed OC R-38 faced insulation between the garage and basement ceiling along an HVAC pipe. I noticed the difference immediately. Especially when temperatures plummeted below zero.

I used this product to insulate my pump house walls and it did a fantastic job. I did not have to use any heating in the pump house.

Easy installation.

I installed this product in the attic above a bedroom which did not have any insulation. Noticed a benefit immediately with the ambient temperature increase. Last winter the room was 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house. No longer thank goodness. Actually that room is warmer than the rest of the house, so that will be my next project to increase the insulation there. great product as always.

I purchased this r-38 for my garage ceiling and it is a great product especially in Pennsylvania in winter. I could notice a great improvement in heating and a lot less heat loss out the roof. I would definitely recomend.

Very thick and good quality

This is for laying down in the attic, it won’t fit other places or walls if you don’t have room. It is a foot thick. If you lay on existing insulator in the attic, make sure it is placed the opposite way (if old ones are vertical then you place these horizontal) so it seals the air even better.
