We went with this batt insulation instead of spray-in insulation because we felt if we ever had to get to any of the wiring or fixtures, it would be easier to lift strips of this up than have to cut into dried spray insulation. Would RecommendI like the Owen’s Corning insulation very much. When Lowe’s had it for the cheapest price, I raced to get a few batts to repair some of the ripped insulation in my knee attic. I am very pleased with the repair. The new insulation was easy to cut, easy to staple up, and it looks great! The Tyvec tape I bought repaired any small tears on the existing older insulation which was not part of my repair. I am very pleased with the outcome.
