Amazing Light

This light is so amazing! I was walking down the aisle browsing lights and this one stood out right away. I had to have it. I put it in my living room and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It was easy to install and is a quality piece. Buy it!! It looks more expensive than it actually costs. A guest visiting me thought it was an $800 light.

Great light in my industrial condo

This light looks good in my condo. Installation was relatively easy, and it only took me 45 minutes or so. After I brought the box home and opened it up, i discovered 4 lights were broken. Not too big of a deal since I had other edison bulb shapes in mind. I ended up using 40 Watt bulbs instead of the 60 watt. My light switch already had a dimmer so i was set to go. It was a little tricky putting it up on my 16ft ceiling but I got it done. Overall I am quite happy with it.

Looks good and easy to install

This was probably one of the easier light fixtures I have installes. The ability to adjust the height is also a nice feature. It definitely looks good installed. As a note the 18 bulbs make it very bright.

Looks great and was easy to install

Installation was easy since the fixture was already put together out of the box. I just needed to screw on two of the 12" extension poles for my 8' ceiling. It comes with three 12" extensions and one 6". It does come with 18 of its own bulbs, but one blew out when we first switched it on. Even with one bulb blown the fixture was very bright with the supplied bulbs. Not sure how easy it will be to replace that one bulb. They give you a # to call for replacement parts. We love this light fixture! We hung it above or our dining table (on a sloped ceiling) with 1100w dimmer. It looks great! Very happy with or purchase.

Great alternative to a vintage sputnik light

Okay, so we've owned this light for over two years now, it's awesome we get compliments on it all the time. I rated it 4/5 stars only because when we received it and opened the box I had to polish it, it had some sort of machine grease on it and finger prints everywhere. Overall not a large issue, and I probably would have cleaned it anyways. Cool light, great price

Almost purchased a similar light from an online lighting site. I searched again when I realized bulbs were not included and I needed 20 bulbs at $5 each. Glad I found this one. It was almost $200 less and included bulbs. Its a nice addition to the eating area in our modern kitchen. We did add a dimmer switch.

Great look for the price

The light fixture looks fantastic in our dining room. I do wish it was a little larger as we have 12 ft. ceilings. But, you can't beat the look for the price. very stylish, but you HAVE to swap the bulbs

This chandelier has a fantastic look, at an affordable price. But be prepared for a TON of light,, as in, the ability to perform open heart surgery underneath it with all those Edison bulbs.... I had to swap out the bulbs for a much lower wattage, AND swap out my my switches to accommodate the wattage. Ultimately, it was a great addition to my home.

Bulbs could heat your whole house!

I purchased this lighting fixture as a show stopper for above my cash wrap in my new retail location. It really added a great statement and impact when entering. The only problem... it throws SO much heat, it is hard to stand under it and work. I can not image having it hang over a dining room table, it will certainly keep your dinner warm! Awesome light, but produces too much heat.

The light was easy to install and the bulbs look great. The only bad thing is it makes the room really hot. I have mine above the kitchen table and everyone complains about the heat. I'm moving it to the foyer.

Starburst Chandelier

I found the instructions to be very complete. The drop pole comes in 4 sections (3 one foot sections and 1, six inch section ) so it is very adjustable. The product was packaged well and the components were well made. I had no issues with the installation. One of the 18 bulbs was broken when we got them all out. Fantastic Find at a Great Price!

This chandelier was the perfect addition to our modern dining room. We priced this at various places and Lowes had the best price for this design. Installing is a two person job and we did it with no problems. When lit the bulbs do put out a fair amount of heat so we will be putting the light on a dimmer to control the intensity. Great compliments from our Thanksgiving guest on this chandelier. We love it!

Beautiful but Hot

This light looks great. Very beautiful and a great statement chandelier for the price. However it puts out an extreme amount of heat. We have it hanging on a vaulted ceiling directly above our sofa. When you sit on the sofa with the light at full power (we used a high wattage dimmer) it feels like a heat lamp. Mid-century knockout

Pros: Great look. Transforms the space. Easy install. Looks high end! Cons: Heat. Commercial dimmer required for 1100 wattage; which cost more than the lighting. Lowes and Home Depot carry a max dimmer of 600 watts.

Great statement piece

This light is really exactly what we wanted. It's the big statement piece in our mid century home. I would be sure to have a dimmer switch on hand. And a1,000 watt one at that. The bulbs that come with are hot and bright. I looked back at my lowes and it looks like that is on a dimmer as well. The dimmer switch needs to be ordered online as lowes does not carry them in stock. Once I get that installed, I think it will be a great feature in the home.

Quality Light, great style at a fair price

We were looking or a Sputnik style, dining room light. This light is pretty bright with 18 edison bulbs. I would suggest putting this beauty on a dimmer. Priced this style light all over the internet, and it was many hundreds of dollars high elsewhere. Light came mostly put together so installation was a breeze.

Excellent fixture at an excellent price

I looked at several websites for this type fixture, and Lowe's has the right fixture at the right price; and delivery was only a few days. It came with 60watt Edison bulbs, but I didn't use them, preferring instead to invest in 4 watt LED bulbs, (40 watt equivalent) which provide better light, without the heat, and look great!
