I enjoy the looks of this and the fact it includes all of the bulbs. It's a great eye sight and brings much to the table to talk about. The only thing I wish they would do is either specifically describe what type of lights they are. These come with incandescent lights, not LED. 60W x 18 bulbs = 1080 total Watts. Great style for low price

I just finished installing this fixture in a large multi use great room over the dining area. Easy enough to install and I love that it cam fully assembled, except for having to connect the 4 downrod pieces. The overall quality of the fixture seems very good, feeling substantial without being overly heavy. I did have two bad bulbs, but they are were easy enough to replace from stock bulbs at Lowes. Bulbs get way too hot.

This is a cool fixture that looks great in our stairwell. However the bulbs turn this thing into a furnace. I’d give it a higher rating if it came with dimmable LED bulbs. I had to purchase those for an extra $140.00.

Just know what your purchasing beforehand

Ive had this light for two years. It looks great and has worked flawlessly, however.......the bulbs are worthless without a dimmer. An expensive dimmer that will cost an additional $100 plus cost of electrician. They are also prohibition style bulbs that look appropriate in almost no traditional style homes so also budget for 18 decent led bulbs. LOVE the new dining room fixture - a real WOW factor. Quality product PLUS it comes with the light bulbs --which can be really expensive. Super bright so you have to get a dimmer switch. Love this chandalier!

Cool fixture unsafe bulbs

My fiance and I had this fixture installed by our electrician. To start the light is awesome great looking however the bulbs are extremely hot you can literally get a suntan if you stand near them. I turned the light on the day we had it installed and the edison bulb exploded violently. Those bulbs are very dangerous and unsafe luckily I was standing on the side of the fixture instead of in front or I could've been hurt. Incorrect advertising

In the details, it says this item has a dimmable feature and it DOES NOT! (They may remove since calling the headquarters ). The item comes with 18 60 Watt light bulbs which gives off a huge amount of heat. The lighting is beautiful but misleading. You must purchase a dimmer.

Modern Sputnik - Love it!

Love it, really nice, but puts off some heat. Dont mind but if you plan to use it daily, recommended to mount in room with high ceiling (so you can't feel it). We have it in our dining room which is your standard height room and we don't use that room that much only holidays so it is a perfect fit. Would have given it 5 stars but since it warms up the room..its getting 4 stars. Probably good for winter or colder regions. Very satisfied and happy with purchase.

Holy heat batman

Chandelier looks great! It's a great centerpiece for an entryway. Be cautious that the bulbs are very fragile. And boy does this thing kick off some heat. Will probably upgrade to LED vintage lights when the prices come down a little bit. Other than that pretty satisfied with the product.

Problems and Solutions.

Here are a few things to be aware of: 1) The fixture comes with eighteen 60-Watt Edison Bulbs for a total of 1080-Watts. a) That many bulbs put out a LOT of heat especially when you're sitting right under it at the dinner table. b) It's nearly impossible to find a dimmer switch that can handle that much wattage. c) I finally did find a dimmer on Amazon that was rated to handle 1100-watts and cost about $40 but the switch and switch plate were so HOT(not warm) to the to...

Awesome chandelier and great price!

Had been looking for a sputnik chandelier and randomly came across this one in Lowes and fell in love with it and the low price. We replaced the bulbs with LED 60w equivalent bulbs that don't give off heat like the original bulbs and are bright white, and after reading reviews we also had a new dimmer installed, although the electrician said with the LED bulbs we didn't really need to. Very classy

I had this chandelier installed in my walk in closet and I'm very happy with it. The only reason I give this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because the light bulbs that came with the light fixture have a yellow tint and they cast a yellow glow in my closet. When they burn out I will replace them with clear bulbs.

Love This Light Fixture

I'd been wanting a light fixture like this for a long time. My husband was perfectly fine with the builder fixture in our breakfast nook and didn't think we needed a new one. Sputnik

It's a light you either love or hate. We love it. You WILL need a dimmer and finding one that can handle all the wattage it's difficult. We were not happy with the too warm color of the included bulbs. We changed then to led. Now are and draw is because to nothing, have better light color, can use a standard dimmer, and still preform surgery if needed.

Everyone comments on it

Bought this light for our entry way. Have it on a dimmer and it looks great from dim to bright. Lots of different looks thought the spectrum w/ the Edison bulbs. I am very happy with this purchase.

Love the Spudnik lamp, but, have one suggestion

This is the coolest lamp we have ever purchased. The only thing we don't like about it is the tinted bulbs that come with it. It gives a false lighting in our art room. I would also suggest the company should sell it with LED bulbs included.
