What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the remote control capability for managing sprinkler timers from their smartphone, calling it transformative for lawn care convenience. Most highlight seamless setup, reliability, and the rain delay feature as standout benefits. However, many report Bluetooth range limitations beyond 100 feet and Wi-Fi connectivity issues, particularly with 5GHz networks. Several note the app feels underdeveloped with occasional drops, and documentation lacks key setup steps. A small group experienced complete connection failures or found the product not worth the cost. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider it essential for existing timer owners.

Would RecommendThis is needed to connect to the internet and remotely. The Bluetooth only works locally. Never thought I would need to remotely control the watering but it turns out to very helpful and convenient.

Wi-Fi Hub was what I needed.
Would RecommendI had the gen 1 timer that was blue tooth and loved it. Bad range
Would Not RecommendDoesn't work in the same spot as a gen 1 hub, could be the newer timer as well, going to take it back as I still have the gen one.
This will be going back along with the timers
Would Not RecommendI bought two of the b-hyve timers for my hoses front and back yards after getting tired of dodging the sprinklers and forgetting to turn them on with any regularity. The only issue I had was running from one end of the house to the other to get into BT range. That plus the promise of "Smart watering " based on my location and the ability to control the sprinklers from anywhere made this a must have for me although I passed on it the first time. The devices connected easily to the hub. The probl...
