Ratings & Reviews for Orbit B-hyve Smart Hub in Black

Amazing

Works Well!

Easy to pair and connect. It is compatible with my current wireless connection and phone. I traveled overseas and had no issue with connectivity and the range from the device has not been an issue.

Easy and Neat

Looking to add Wi-Fi connectivity to your water line timer? The B-hyve Wi-Fi connector is a easy and simple way to add the next level Of Smart Home to your water control project.

Not Durable

I bought this to keep my garden watered. I like the concept that you can control it away from home. I started to see leaks on one outlet. Then month later all my programs were dumped. Now it shuts off and has to reboot. It’s a good thing I did not leave on our long vacations because my plants would have died. We go home to Texas for two months and this controller would have no worked.

A Great Use of Technology

I paired this with my orbit water timer; one of the best decisions. It was easy to connect (just follow the directions). I love the fact that I can control my water timer from anywhere. It is saving me money as well with the automatic rain delay feature. This is a must have....no more manually fidgeting with the timer. I can do it all from my phone (the app).

Now I can't easily return an item that doesnt work

It failed to connect to my 2.5G channel within the 5G router. I spent hours with B-Hyve and Verizon with no success or any admission of responsibility. But the worst part is that I can't UPS it back for a refund, and I can't be bothered to travel to the nearest store.

Great product!

Great experience with Orbit Irrigation in general.

This Orbit Hub doesn't stay connected!!

I bought this Hub and the 4-port XD Tap Timer. These 2 units worked well for about 1 week, and now the Hub won't connect to my WiFi !! I live 5 hours away from the location that's being watered, so NO, I'm not going on a 10 hour trip, just to push the button 5 times to try to get it to reconnect to my WiFi !! I think this Hub is pitifully weak in signal and in firmware, to stay continually connected, or connect as needed. Apparently it's fine if you live in the home, and have time to play wit...

Helped us water while on vacation.

Game Changer

This product was easy to install and easy to use with the app. Absolutely LOVE that it delivers on its promise.
