Disappointment...quickly replaced great appreciation and gratitude!
We love the feel of this rug under foot and the color, but the big question is the manner in which it was woven. The 2x3 was no problem but the 3x5 had holes that were created from it looked like severed cuts of the jute. Not something we could live with. The woman at Rugs USA was really wonderful and took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. I had ordered a similar weave 7'6"x9"6",in off white that is quite nice. So I will order a 3'x5' in that same weave, in natural, to replace the o...

Smaller than stated, but good overall
The rug says it is 11' 6" x 8'6" but is really about 11x8. Disappointed, but it still works for me. Maybe it will stretch out over time?

In 2 years it stretched and broke, forever dirty
The natural characteristics of this rug meant it has always been dirty in the house. We have had it for 2 years now, and b/c of it's size and weight it's not a rug that can be regularly beat. The floor underneath is always filthy. It also recently started stretching on the short edges, so is no longer a neat rectangle. Brought it outside to try and beat it and wherever it was grabbed it simply broke, apparently from brittleness. Not a long term rug.
