Well designed unit
Nicely designed system that optimizes the available space in our 4x4. We've had solid performance from other Midland radios and this unit continues the experience. It's a bit pricey but given we often find ourselves in very remote circumstances, reliabilty is a necessity.

MXT575 Review
Would RecommendInstalled MXT575 in my 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and really like the options of different mounting locations. Install unit under dash just above driver's left foot. New to GMRS and haven't figured out all the different settings and have not tuned the antenna yet. But I range test it anyway. Using two hand held GXT 1000 we got roughly 1.5-1.7 miles of range. Then switched to using the MXT575 and a Midland 40 watt in a friend's jeep and only got about 2 miles range but the woods really got thic...

Would RecommendBeautiful unit! Picked up one of these for traveling in caravans down the Baja peninsula. We've found the radio to be very convenient and much quicker to use then trying to call our text each other while driving (which is dangerous and illegal). We like that the radio is wired into our trucks power source - no charging required. Clear, strong reception - recommended.
