Ratings & Reviews for Maytag Pet Pro High Efficiency Agitator Extra Large ( 5.2-cu ft ) Top-Load Washer ( Midnight Steel )
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the pet hair removal feature and strong cleaning performance, with many noting clothes come out noticeably cleaner and the removable filter captures dog and cat hair effectively. The large 5.2 cubic foot drum handles bulky items well, and WiFi notifications plus quiet operation are frequently appreciated. However, a substantial portion report serious reliability issues including control panel failures, motor problems, and recurring spin cycle imbalances requiring manual redistribution. Despite these mechanical concerns, most customers find the cleaning capability and features worthwhile overall.

Would Not RecommendHad this machine for 3 months now, and I have to say it has ruined more clothing. Clothes have dark spots after washing, lint, dingy colors, and clothes do not look like they were even washed. Very disappointing
Great washer

POOR QUALITY WASHER
Would Not RecommendScreen started shorting out a few months after purchase when you would press the “soil” button. The screen would say “power outage” and have to do a full reset. Then the agitator got extremely loud. Called Maytag/Whirpool since it is still under factory warranty only to be told that labor isn’t covered, just certain parts and electrical is not covered. I purchased an extended warranty with Lowe’s which they told me also doesn’t cover any labor so I had to purchase an additional monthly extended ...

These washers have an issue with the control board that says there is a drainage issue. This happened to mine six months after I bought it. The warranty repair man said it’s a common issue and Maytag sometimes sends replacement parts off older washers that cause the same issue.
We are so sorry to hear about the ongoing drainage and control board issues you have been experiencing with your washer after only six months of owne... Read More
